Weather of Arabia - The latest satellite images show the beginning of the development of quantities of thunderclouds in the sky of the city of Abha in the Asir region, while radar images indicate the beginning of rain in Al-Soudah.

Expectations indicate that the range of unstable weather conditions will begin to expand, with the amount of clouds increasing in the skies of Jizan, Asir, and Al-Baha, developing into cumulus thunderstorms with rain showers of varying intensity.

Expected rain chances to extend to parts of Mecca and Taif

The forecast also indicates the possibility of rain extending to include parts of the Taif Heights and Mecca , especially in the afternoon hours, and God knows best.

Experts at the Arab Regional Weather Center attributed these weather fluctuations to tropical humidity flowing into the region coming from the Horn of Africa.
