Arab Weather - The latest satellite images monitor the rapid development of cumulonimbus clouds in the skies of the southern and eastern parts of the Jazan region, where they are now exposed to cumulonimbus clouds and medium to heavy rains in Samtah, Al-Aridah, Ahad Al-Masarihah and Abu Arish.

The latest weather forecasts indicate that the scope of thunderclouds will expand in the coming few hours to include wider parts of the Jazan region and parts of Asir and Al-Baha. It is also likely that cumulonimbus clouds will form in the eastern parts of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region and extend to Taif, where it is expected that these areas will witness rainfall of varying intensity.

The National Center of Meteorology issued a red alert for parts of the Jazan region, including Ad-Darb and Beesh, due to the possibility of thunderstorms in the coming hours.
