Arab Weather - The latest outputs of numerical computer models indicate that most regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to be affected by a high pressure system in the upper atmosphere, accompanied by an air mass with temperatures warmer than their averages across the lower atmosphere. Temperatures remain 3-5 degrees Celsius higher than their climatic averages, while the northern regions are affected by a cooler air mass coming from the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea.
The weather in the coming days will be hot during the day, with maximum temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius in the capital, Riyadh, while the weather will remain moderate in the southwestern mountain range (the Kingdom's summer resorts) due to the elevation of these areas above sea level. Winds will be variable in direction and light to moderate, while they will be northwesterly, moderate to active on the Red Sea and the Red Sea coasts, including the city of Jeddah, which will increase the concentration of dust and suspended dust in the atmosphere.
At night, temperatures drop and the weather tends to be moderate in the late night hours and dawn, while it is pleasant in the southwestern highlands, and tends to be cold over the high peaks.
In detail, it is expected that a cooler air mass coming from the eastern Mediterranean basin and the Levant region will push towards the northern parts of the Kingdom, affecting "Tabuk - Al-Jawf - the Northern Borders" accompanied by a decrease in temperatures.
Maximum temperatures in the mentioned areas of Tabuk, Al-Jawf and the Northern Borders are expected to drop to between 19 and 23 degrees Celsius, while at night they will drop to between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius. Thus, the temperature differences between day and night become sharp, so it is advisable to wear coats.
Cumulus clouds will appear locally over parts of the highlands of the southwest of the Kingdom, and may be accompanied by limited showers of rain.
And God knows best.
