Temperatures remain 5-6 degrees Celsius higher than their climatic averages, while the northern regions will be affected by a cooler air mass coming across the eastern Mediterranean basin.

The weather in the coming days will be relatively hot to hot during the day, with maximum temperatures approaching 40 degrees Celsius in the capital, Riyadh, while the weather will remain moderate in the southwestern mountain range (the Kingdom's summer resorts) due to the elevation of these areas above sea level. The southwestern highlands will continue to be affected by thunderstorms during the coming days, as cumulonimbus clouds multiply over parts of the Asir and Al-Baha highlands, accompanied by thunderstorms of varying intensity, accompanied by hail and sudden winds.

Meanwhile, the southeast of the Kingdom, specifically the south of the Empty Quarter, is affected by a state of atmospheric instability resulting from the remnants of the Al-Sayal depression on Wednesday and Thursday, as clouds appear at different heights interspersed with cumulonimbus clouds leading to thunderstorms accompanied by sudden winds and perhaps hail.
