Saudi Arabia | A scene documenting the widespread frost that struck the Al-Eis Heights in Medina on Friday morning

Weather of Arabia - Tweeters shared a video clip on the social networking site (X) showing the formation of frost on some of the mountainous highlands of the Al-Eis area in Medina.

Medina, as was the case with many regions of the Kingdom, was affected over the weekend by a cold air mass, which reduced temperatures and approached the zero Celsius barrier in many areas, including the highlands north of the Medina region.

It is noteworthy that the phenomenon of frost formation on the Al-Eis Heights is not a rare occurrence, as it is repeated almost annually when the region is affected by cold waves of polar origins.
