From the Arabia Weather Center - the latest weather maps resulting from so-called computer simulations indicate expectations that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be affected by a new weather condition in the middle of next week that will bring rainfall to large areas of the Kingdom and be accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, in addition to activity in winds that cause dust storms.
A depression in the high air layers is gradually approaching the north of the Kingdom on Sunday, so that the opportunity is created for quantities of clouds to multiply at different altitudes over parts of the west and center of the Kingdom, accompanied by some rainfall, especially the southwestern regions, up to Medina, in addition to parts of the Riyadh region. .
As for Monday, the influence of the upper air depression in the north of the Kingdom deepens, coinciding with a surface response to the Red Sea depression and the flow of quantities of moisture with tropical characteristics into the Kingdom’s atmosphere, so that moderate to heavy rain falls on large parts of the regions of Tabuk, the northern border, Al-Jawf, Hail, and Medina. Administratively, Al-Munawarah, Al-Qassim, and northern Riyadh are accompanied by the occurrence of thunderstorms and the falling of sedges, which leads to the flow of valleys and reefs.
Rain also affects parts of Hafar Al-Batin, Mecca, and the southwestern highlands, but in a sporadic manner. The southwesterly winds are also active in many regions and are accompanied by severe gusts in parts of the center of the Kingdom and lead to the occurrence of dust storms.
The chances of rain on Tuesday, God willing, will be concentrated in the central regions in addition to the north of the eastern region, and also include scattered parts of the west and north of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder at times.
There is a clear drop in temperatures in large parts of the Kingdom, with active northwesterly wind speeds, which lead to the occurrence of dust storms.
God knows.
