Arabia Weather - Specialists at the “Arab Regional Weather Center” are following around the clock the latest computer modeling outputs, which, thank God, indicate the continued flow of large amounts of tropical moisture into the Kingdom’s atmosphere, which works to renew the formation of cumulus thunderclouds on a large scale.
According to the latest weather analyzes issued by the forecast team, it is expected that, God willing, the formation of large quantities of cumulus thunderclouds will occur again during the coming hours, concentrated primarily on the Jazan and Asir highlands, as these areas are expected to be affected by showers of rain, which will not be unlikely to be heavy and accompanied by lightning. Thunder, hail, and falling winds, leading to significant flow of valleys and reefs and a rise in water levels. It is also not excluded that some rain clouds will extend towards the coastal parts of these areas.
Cumulus thunderstorm clouds also form in the skies of Al-Baha, Taif, and parts of the Makkah Al-Karma region, including the holy sites. They are also accompanied by rain events of varying intensity, accompanied by the occurrence of thunderstorms.
The numerical outputs of the Arabia Weather Center for medium and long-term forecasts indicate that the chances of rain are expected to increase exponentially during the month of August in the southwest of the Kingdom, and to extend to other regions such as Medina and parts of the Riyadh region, God willing.
