Weather of Arabia - The southwestern and western regions of the Kingdom remain under the influence of unstable weather conditions on Wednesday, as thunderstorm clouds multiply and showers of rain fall in the afternoon and evening hours.
According to the latest output of numerical models operated by Arab Weather, the heights of Taif and east of Makkah Al-Mukarramah will witness thunderstorms of rain on a daily basis during the afternoon and evening hours, with the continued flow of quantities of moisture in the high air layers coming from the Arabian Sea.
All the highlands of Jizan, Asir and Al-Baha will also witness cumulonimbus thunder formations during the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, with showers of rain falling.
A hot to very hot atmosphere prevails throughout the kingdom on Wednesday, with the exception of the southwestern high mountainous highlands, where the weather is moderate.
The capital, Riyadh, records 38 degrees on Wednesday afternoon, while Makkah al-Mukarramah records 41 degrees and Abha, 25 degrees.
The westerly winds are active in the north of the Kingdom, where they work to raise dirt and dust on the Al-Jawf region and the northern borders of the northern border during the noon and afternoon hours.
