Weather of Arabia - An official and important statement was issued by the Supreme Court calling on all Muslims throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan on the evening of Sunday 8/29/1445 AH - according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 3/10/2024 AD. This was stated in an announcement by the Supreme Court, which reads as follows:

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions, and after:

In view of what was included in Supreme Court Decision No. (179/AH) dated 8/1/1445 AH that Sunday 8/1/1445 AH - according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 2/11/2024 AD, is the beginning of the month of Shaban for the year 1445 AH; The Supreme Court wishes all Muslims throughout the Kingdom to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan on the evening of Sunday 8/29/1445 AH - according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 3/10/2024 AD.

The Supreme Court requests that anyone who sees it with the naked eye or through binoculars: Notify the nearest court to him and register his testimony there, or contact the nearest center; To help him reach the nearest court.

The Supreme Court hopes that those who have the ability to see will pay attention to this matter, join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose, and calculate the reward and compensation for participating. Because of its cooperation in righteousness and piety, and the benefit to all Muslims.
