Arab Weather - The General Entertainment Authority announced the start of the Riyadh Season 2024 activities, in its fifth season, which will start today, Saturday, October 12. The head of the authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, explained that the season will include 14 entertainment areas and 10 festivals and exhibitions, in addition to 11 international championships, most notably the African Super Cup, which will witness an anticipated confrontation between Al-Ahly and Zamalek clubs. Riyadh Season 2024 launch date

The General Entertainment Authority, headed by Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, announced the launch date of the Riyadh Season 2024, according to the following details:

1. Gregorian Date: Season starts on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
2. Hijri date: The season starts on 9 Rabi’ al-Akhir 1446 AH.
3. Event duration: Events will continue until the end of February 2025.
4. Area: The events are held on a vast area of 7.2 million square meters, with the participation of about 2,100 companies.
5. Percentage of local companies: Participating local companies represent approximately 95% of the total companies.
6. Season Updates: This year’s season will feature a new area called “The Venue”, where seven major events will be held.
