Arab Weather - The latest computer simulation results at the Arab Weather Center indicate that rain is expected to include new areas of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the coming days, as a result of the penetration of what is known as the imaginary tropical zone ITCZ into the south of the Kingdom, leading to increased atmospheric instability in the atmosphere and deepening tropical humidity in the Rub' al-Khali region, which is considered one of the driest regions in the world.
Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that cumulonimbus cloud activity is expected to affect several parts of the Empty Quarter early and mid-next week, extending to the southwest of the Riyadh region administratively and Najran, coinciding with the continuation of rain in many southwestern regions, including Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, parts of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and southern Madinah Al-Munawwarah, but to a lesser extent than in the past days.
These clouds are accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail in some areas, which leads to the flow of valleys and ravines in some areas. Winds become active during the passage of thunderclouds, especially in desert areas, and cause dust and dirt to rise.
And God knows best.
