The Saudi Ministry of Health advised to “wear a mask”, especially when infected, stressing the importance of this for “the elderly and those who suffer from chronic or immune diseases”, and advised to maintain hand hygiene, to prevent the spread of the sub-mutant.

And about the “XBB” sub-mutator and its monitoring in Saudi Arabia, he said that “there have not been indications of virulence and severity so far,” noting the importance of “completing the Corona virus vaccines because they are effective against mutant.”
He called on the public to "follow the advice and instructions" of the Ministry of Health, and the Public Health Authority "Prevention", and to implement preventive measures, according to what he mentioned in the tweet.
And it confirmed in a statement, Monday, that the sub-mutants of "Omicron BA5 and BA2" are prevalent in more than 75% of the positive samples, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA".
