Weather of Arabia - Weather analyst at the National Center of Meteorology, Aqeel Al-Aqeel, said: Over the past 30 years, climate records reveal that the Jazan region recorded the highest amount of rainfall in the Kingdom in the month of August.

In detail, Al-Aqeel explained in a video to Al-Ikhbariya channel today that, by referring to our climate records over the past 30 years, we always find Jizan in the month of August recording the highest amount of rainfall on a daily and monthly basis, and it is also the highest area exposed to cumulonimbus clouds and winds. The falling ones cause intense dust, dust, lightning, and thunder.

He added: Therefore, Jizan is always at the heart of the event in the month of August, and we always focus on the abundance of rain in the Jizan region and most of the mountain range of the Red Sea highlands.

It is noteworthy that the Jazan region was exposed to heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms yesterday, Tuesday, as a result of the region being affected by a strong state of air instability.
