Arab Weather - The National Center of Meteorology announced that Medina was exposed yesterday, Friday , to wind speeds of 100 km/h, with rainfall amounts of 34 mm in just two hours (from 8 to 9 pm), especially in the Jabal Uhud area, reaching 37 mm in an entire day.

According to the center, this condition may rise to the level of a "special" weather condition due to the severity of the descending winds and the intensity of rainfall in a short period of time. It is noteworthy that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is exposed to seasonal rains during this period of the year, as cumulonimbus clouds are active in the western and southwestern parts of the Kingdom, sometimes accompanied by heavy rains and descending winds with lightning, thunder and hail.
