Arab Weather - A short while ago, the Weather Forecast Department at the Arab Weather Center issued a report explaining the areas covered by the snowfall forecast on Monday, and the report indicated that a flow of very cold polar winds was monitored from the eastern European continent towards the northern parts of Saudi Arabia through the Levant, which is expected to increase Her dash during Monday.
The report indicated that it is expected, God willing, that the flow of polar winds will coincide with the flow of warm currents from the southeast. This convergence between the two air systems leads in some cases to snowfall in areas unusual for snowfall. The computer processing outputs through numerical modeling of the movements of air masses also refer to Possible collision areas on Monday through Tuesday morning, where snow is likely to occur, include:
1) Al-Jawf region, especially its southeastern parts.
2) Several parts of Tabuk, especially the southern parts, including Ain Al-Akhdar and the adjacent parts.
3) West of Tabuk and includes Jabal al-Lawz.
4) The road between Tabuk and Medina.
The report added that it is not possible to know whether snow accumulations will occur in these areas as a result of snowfall, but there will be a field follow-up of the weather situation on the go to find out this. Computer modeling indicates that another collision between Siberian winds and atmospheric instability may occur to the southwest of the Al-Jawf region and the eastern parts of the Tabuk region to include parts close to the Tayma Governorate.
As a result of the distributions of atmospheric pressure and wind movement in the layers of the atmosphere tomorrow, the path of clouds laden with rain and snow will be directed towards the southern regions of Tabuk more than it is in the rest of the regions, which means, God willing, rain will fall in large areas of southern Tabuk, while it will fall Snow over the mountainous heights, and it is not unlikely that it will also accumulate in a way that sometimes impedes walking on the roads, and it is expected that the peak of snowfall will be during that period extending from the hours of Monday evening until the dawn of Tuesday, God willing.
As a result of the path and movement of the polar air mass, Jebel Al-Lawz is set to receive snow showers and snowfalls at intervals, especially during the daytime hours on Monday, and may accumulate, God willing.
And later, with the dawn hours and Tuesday morning, the chances of precipitation weaken and the clouds decrease in most areas, and the weather turns to become bitterly cold in most of the northern regions of the Kingdom, and a strong wave of ice and freezing occurs on most of the areas that have been exposed to precipitation, including external and internal roads, amid expectations of frost in all regions of the Kingdom up to the region of Hail.
