Saudi Arabia | On this date, the second semester begins in Saudi Arabia for the year 1446

Arab Weather - The Saudi Ministry of Education announced the start date for the second semester of the year 1446 AH, according to the approved academic calendar, after receiving many inquiries from students and parents regarding the start date of the second semester and the return of work.

The ministry confirmed that the academic calendar for the year 1446 AH includes all the details related to the academic year, including the start and end dates of the three semesters, in addition to the dates of the official holidays and vacations that students receive throughout the academic year. According to the calendar, the start of the second semester will be on Sunday, November 17, 2024 AD , corresponding to Jumada Al-Awwal 15, 1446 AH.

Long weekend break date in the second semester

As part of the academic calendar for the year 1446 AH, the second semester includes an extended weekend break for all students in various Saudi schools. The Ministry of Education stressed the importance of these breaks for students, as they provide them with an opportunity to rest from the school and study routine, which helps them regain their energy in preparation for the completion of the school year.

The long weekend will be on Wednesday and Thursday, December 11 and 12, 2024 AD, corresponding to Jumada Al-Thani 10 and 11, 1446 AH.
