Arab Weather - The latest computer simulation outputs in the Arab Weather Center indicate expectations of an intensification of thunderstorms in the southwestern regions on Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6, 2023, and this coincides with activity of winds that raise dust and dust in several regions of the Kingdom, God willing.

Friday: Thunderstorms from the south and active dusty winds in many areas

It is expected, God willing, that the opportunity will be created in the afternoon for cumulus clouds to multiply over the heights of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and the east of Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, in addition to Najran. to the flow of valleys and reefs in some areas.

The northwest winds gradually activate during the day in the eastern region. While the winds are southeasterly to southwesterly, brisk in the west of the administrative region of Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Hail, Al-Jawf, and east of Tabuk, and work to raise dust and dust.

In terms of temperatures, it is expected to tend to rise in the northwestern regions, and thus the weather will be relatively hot to hot during the daytime hours in most regions.

Saturday: Thunderstorms continue in the southwest of the Kingdom, and dusty waves in the north

The activity of the cumulus rain clouds is renewed during the afternoon and evening hours of Saturday on the southwestern heights, and these rains are sometimes heavy and are accompanied by the occurrence of thunderstorms, with the possibility of flowing into valleys and reefs.

It is expected that a Khamasini depression will approach the north of the Kingdom, as a rise in temperatures will occur in the northern regions.

And the southwesterly winds gradually activate during the day in most of the northwestern regions, causing dust waves and a decrease, and perhaps almost no horizontal visibility.
