Weather of Arabia - Prince and poet Badr bin Abdul Mohsen , one of the most prominent pioneers of poetic modernity in the Arabian Peninsula, died today, Saturday, in the French capital, at the age of 75. Prince Badr is considered a prominent figure who made tangible efforts in establishing and developing Arabic literature, as he drafted literary texts. It varies between flirtation, pride, and lamentation, in addition to reviewing the social and political reality in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab world.
The head of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, mourned Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen in a tweet via his account on the “X” platform, where he said:
“May God have mercy on the poet Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen, and forgive him and place him in spacious paradise. My condolences to his honorable family, his children, the honorable House of Saud, and the Saudi people. Sad news, and I feel I have lost a father of mine, but all I can say is praise be to God in any case.”
