Saudi Arabia | The launch of the summer water “watering” campaign in Riyadh with 800,000 water bottles

Weather of Arabia - The Water Water Association in the Riyadh region launched the “With your giving, we will water them” campaign, which aims to distribute more than 20,000 cartons of water, equivalent to 800,000 bottles. The campaign includes distributing water in mosques, cemeteries, and workers in the sun, in addition to summer youth activities, women’s homes, public places, and others.

Water Irrigation Association in the Riyadh region

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Water Irrigation Association in the Riyadh region, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Talib said that the association has sought since its founding to provide humanitarian services related to water supply, citing the hadith of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace:

“The best charity is giving water.”

He explained that the association takes advantage of the seasons to launch its development projects with the support and assistance of philanthropists in society.

He pointed out that the “With your giving, we provide them with water” campaign comes as part of the specific initiatives and vital projects with a humanitarian dimension implemented by the association, in line with its vision, mission and lofty goals. He explained that the association realizes its important role in providing drinking water to various segments of society, and is keen to achieve its goals in providing water in places of need, and enhancing community awareness of the importance of preserving water and rationalizing its use. The campaign will continue for a full month in the capital, Riyadh, and the association’s branches in Al-Kharj, Hotat Bani Tamim, and Shaqra, targeting many vital locations such as public places, walks, hospitals, health centers, and street workers.

It is worth noting that the campaign aims to distribute 15 water refrigerators, 25 water desalination devices, and 600 tools to rationalize water consumption. The association continues to distribute water throughout the year, and receives contributions through the following bank accounts:
