Saudi Arabia | Turki Al-Sheikh wins the Most Influential Personality Award

Arab Weather - Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, received the "Most Influential Personality of the Last Decade" award during the MENA Effie Awards 2024 ceremony, in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the fields of entertainment and creativity. Al-Sheikh commented via his account on the "X" platform, saying:

"The award for the most influential personality in the last decade during the MENA Effie Awards 2024 ceremony #Riyadh_Season with the support of the inspiring leader, may God protect him, and all thanks and appreciation to the people of my dear country for their support in reaching this global award. They are the secret of success."

International sporting achievements

Al-Sheikh’s achievements are not limited to entertainment; he has achieved the number one spot in the ESPN World Rankings for his influential role in boxing, mixed martial arts, and professional wrestling. This award came as a result of his continuous efforts to attract major sporting events to the Kingdom, such as WWE matches that will be held in Saudi Arabia for ten years thanks to a long-term partnership with the International Wrestling Federation.
Turki Al-Sheikh stressed that Saudi Arabia has become a major player in the entertainment industry at the global level. He wrote on the “X” platform:

"Saudi Arabia has become a major global entertainment maker with the support of Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Saudi creativity broadcasts its content all over the world. Quality of life is a pillar created by our inspiring leader."

Success of Riyadh Season 2024

Al-Sheikh also announced that Riyadh Season 2024 has achieved a new record by attracting 6 million visitors in less than a month since its launch. This achievement reflects the huge turnout for the season’s events from inside and outside the Kingdom, confirming Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a global hub for tourism and entertainment.
