Saudi Arabia | Unstable weather conditions in the eastern region, Riyadh and southwest of the Kingdom on Monday

Weather of Arabia - The eastern region and parts of the central region of Saudi Arabia remain under unstable weather conditions on Monday, and clouds multiply at different altitudes and thunderstorms of rain fall, including Hafar Al-Batin, the eastern region, parts of Al-Qassim and northern Riyadh.

A surface thermal depression pushes moist currents from the Arabian Gulf

The reason for the atmospheric instability is the concentration of a surface thermal depression to the south of the Kingdom, as a result of which moist eastern currents blow from the Arabian Gulf towards the eastern parts of the Kingdom, and with the presence of a cold air mass in the high air layers above those areas, clouds form at different altitudes. There will be thunderstorms in the rain.

These unstable weather conditions are actively associated with dusty and dusty winds, especially during jealous thunderstorms, and thus the horizontal visibility is reduced.

The opportunity also opens for some thunder formations over the southwestern highlands with the noon and afternoon hours, and thunderstorms of rain.
