The first solar eclipse

It will be dated October 25, 2022

On October 25, the sky of the Kingdom will witness a partial eclipse of the sun, and the eclipse will be seen from different regions of the Kingdom in varying degrees, and the percentage of the moon’s blocking of the sun will range from 15% in the far southwest of the Kingdom to 42% in the Hafar Al-Batin area and the border areas with Kuwait, and the solar eclipse will be in Noon and afternoon.

Second solar eclipse "most remarkable"

It will be dated August 2, 2027

This eclipse is considered the most distinctive for the Kingdom during the next 10 years because it is a total eclipse covering major cities such as the city of Jeddah and various cities in the southwestern sector of the Kingdom such as Abha, Jizan, Al-Baha, Taif and Makkah , where all these areas will witness a total eclipse of the sun, and the percentage of the moon will be obscured by the sun 100%, and the blocking percentage will gradually decrease as we head towards the east, but the percentage will not be less than 60% in all regions of the Kingdom, which means that witnessing the solar eclipse will be distinguished in various regions of the Kingdom, and the solar eclipse will be in the noon hours, meaning that the day will turn into night On this day at noon.

Third solar eclipse

It will be dated June 1, 2030

On June 1, 2030, the sky of the Kingdom will witness a partial eclipse of the sun , and the eclipse will be seen from different regions of the Kingdom in varying degrees, and the percentage of the moon’s blocking of the sun will range between 60% in the far north of the Kingdom and the border areas with Jordan, to 10% in the far south of the Kingdom and the Empty Quarter desert It will be early in the morning.
