Saudi Arabia - Update 2:25 PM | Active thunderstorms are now affecting eastern Taif and parts of Al-Baha and Asir, and chances of rain will move to Riyadh in the coming hours

Arab weather - Sinan Khalaf - the latest satellite images show that the southwestern and western highlands and their eastern slopes of the Kingdom continue to be affected by thunderstorms, laden with heavy rain and hail.

It is expected that both Taif and Al Baha will continue to be affected by the unstable weather conditions during the next few hours, so that convective thunderstorms will continue to develop, and isolated showers of rain will fall, sometimes heavy and accompanied by showers of hail.

Expectations also indicate that the Riyadh region may be actively affected by thunderstorms with the hours of this afternoon and evening, concentrated in the western parts of it, and may affect the city of Riyadh in a limited way.
