Arab Weather - Sinan Khalaf - Unusually, and despite the end of October and a half of November, the absence of significant rain events from the Kingdom's atmosphere has become noticeable, especially in its southwestern sector, which is often exposed during this period of the year to thunderstorm clouds known locally as "Kasir" clouds . So what is the reason for their absence this year?
Experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center believe that the main reason behind the absence of Al-Kasir clouds and the lack of impact of any significant rain events on the western parts of the Kingdom during October and the past of November until today is due to the lack of deepening of the upper basins and less cold air to the Red Sea region, which collides with the warm and humid air masses coming from the south, which generates strong thunderstorm clouds along the coastal areas from Tabuk to the city of Jeddah.
Regarding the forecasts for the second half of November, the analyses of the weather forecast team at “Arab Weather” indicate that the chances of rain will begin to improve gradually, especially during the last days of the month, as it is expected that the upper basins and less cold air will begin to rush towards the Red Sea region, which will lead to the emergence of unstable weather conditions in parts of the north and west of the Kingdom.
