Arabia Weather - In conjunction with our entry into the first day of winter tomorrow, Friday, December 22, 2023 AD, when large parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are expected to be affected by a state of atmospheric instability, the impact of which is expected to include 10 administrative regions, as follows:
Weather fluctuations had already begun at the time this report was being prepared, as satellite images show quantities of rain clouds forming in the sky of the northern coastal parts of the Tabuk region extending from Neom to Daba, as these areas are witnessing rainfall of varying intensity.
These clouds are expected to expand in area during the morning hours of Friday to include some parts of the Medina region, especially the city of Yanbu, and extend later during the day and evening of Friday to include parts of Al-Jawf, Hail, and the northern borders, with the cloud belt continuing to move gradually towards the south, to include parts of the region. Hail in the noon and afternoon hours, and moves in the evening and tonight to the areas of Al-Qassim and Hafr Al-Batin.
The latest forecasts indicate that the region of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and its coasts, including the city of Jeddah, will begin to be affected by the chances of rain starting from the hours after midnight on Friday and dawn and morning on Saturday , so that clouds will multiply at different altitudes and the opportunity will be created for showers of rain to fall. It is not unlikely that these rains will be accompanied by some rain. Heavy showers sometimes in some areas.
This state of air turbulence comes as a result of the extension of a cold air depression towards the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea and the Levant region, coinciding with the activity of the Red Sea depression and the rush of a warm air mass coming from the south, which creates air disturbances and creates a state of air instability that is subsequently formed. Strong clouds accompanied by rain.
