Saudi Arabia/Update 11:30 PM: Heavy rain storm affecting the southern coast of Mecca and moving north now

Arab Weather - The latest satellite images from the Arab Weather Center show that the southern coast of Makkah Al-Mukarramah was affected by heavy thunderclouds, which affected Al-Qunfudhah and moved towards Al-Lith, accompanied by heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms with the flow of valleys and ravines and the rise of water levels in the roads.

God willing, the Yemeni storm is expected to continue moving northward in the coming few hours, and its effects may include parts of the holy sites and Jeddah Governorate, accompanied by rain, lightning and thunder.

Areas covered by rain forecast in the Kingdom on Saturday 8/24/2024

Experts at the Arab Weather Center said that cumulonimbus cloud activity is expected to resume in the southwest of the Kingdom on Saturday, covering several parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and the south and west of Madinah, accompanied by rain of varying intensity, thunderstorms, and hail.

Cumulonimbus clouds are also likely to be strong in some areas and lead to heavy flow of valleys and ravines.
