Experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center believe that the main reason behind the absence of widespread and comprehensive rainy conditions in the region to this day is due to the nature of the prevailing weather systems and the strength of the high-pressure systems affecting the Arabian Peninsula, and the lack of deepening of the upper basins and less cold air to the Levant and Red Sea regions, which are supposed to collide with the warm and humid air masses coming from the south, which are supposed to create unstable weather conditions and the widespread formation of rainy thunderclouds.

Regarding the short and medium term weather forecasts, the experts at Arab Weather believe that the prevailing weather systems will remain in control of the region’s atmosphere during the coming week at least, which means that stable weather will continue to prevail and there will be no rainy or general conditions in the region, including Saudi Arabia.
