Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest computer model outputs indicate an intensification of the severity of weather disturbances and the strong rain wave affecting the United States, especially those overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, accompanied by the formation of super clouds and severe funnel hurricanes.
After reading the latest advanced computer outputs, weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that there is a very cold upper wave coming from the north that will cross the United States and coincide with an influx of very warm and humid air coming from the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, causing the formation of severe thunderstorms that are believed to be supercells, which are accompanied by severe weather phenomena, as this type of supercell is accompanied by heavy rainfall with a high rate of abundance, in addition to being accompanied by strong thunderstorms and the falling of hailstones in large quantities. It is expected that the exceptional weather conditions will include a number of the United States, especially the states of Texas, Oklahoma and the surrounding states overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
According to advanced computer outputs, the warning index has risen to the severe level, in light of the results of computer numerical models indicating that huge amounts of rain will fall today and in the coming days, totaling 100-200 mm in some areas. Some models also indicate amounts of rain that may reach 300 mm and more, and the amounts vary from one region to another depending on the terrain and geographical nature. This warns of the existence of real risks of floods and landslides and rockslides due to the saturation of the ground with water that may exceed its need.
The weather forecasting staff at the Arab Weather Regional Center indicated that tornadoes are a very common weather event in the United States of America and are caused by strong atmospheric disturbances that originate in the atmosphere. The southern states of North America have been affected by atmospheric disturbances resulting from the rush of cold, dry winds from the north that coincide with warm, humid air currents coming through the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It is well known in meteorology that the greater the difference between the characteristics of the winds that meet each other, the greater the frequency of the atmospheric disturbances and the more severe and dangerous they are.
The latest numerical modeling readings indicate that cold, dry winds will continue to meet warm, humid winds today and in the coming days, with strong atmospheric disturbances continuing to affect the southern states of North America, including southern Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and all the way to Georgia and northern Florida, with the possibility of tornadoes continuing to form as a result of the strength of the thunderclouds that will affect those areas, which increases the risk of flooding in many areas.
And God knows best.
