Shubra-Banha Freeway closed due to heavy fog.. Watch the dense fog in the video

Arab Weather - The General Administration of Qalyubia Traffic announced the closure of the Shubra-Banha freeway from both directions to traffic, due to the dense fog that obscures the vision on the road, as a water mist covered, on Monday morning, many cities of Qalyubia Governorate, especially the agricultural road "Cairo" Alexandria” and “Shubra-Banha” are free and the main roads in the governorate, and the Qalyubia Traffic Department has appealed to be careful while driving.

Qalyubia Traffic called on citizens to abide by the following guidelines:

• Comply with legal speeds
• Leave a space between cars and each other for fear of any car slipping
• Do not overtake other cars while driving, while adhering to the middle lane and being guided by the ground lines
• Increasing the safety distances between cars and preventing cars from stopping on the road
• Use the horn intermittently to notify others of the vehicle's presence.

Qalyubia governorate witnessed heavy fog that started from the early hours of this morning until now, which prompted the governorate’s traffic to appeal to citizens to prevent accidents and preserve the lives of citizens, in addition to the spread of mobile and fixed patrols on highways.
