Arab weather - God willing, the Sea of Oman is expected to witness the emergence of unstable weather conditions as of Thursday, as with the approach of a cold upper air groove, large quantities of thunderstorms will multiply off the coast of the Sultanate overlooking the Sea of Oman as a beginning of a strong state of air instability that will continue for several Days and include important cities such as the capital Muscat.
The Sultanate is increasingly affected by the cold gully, which was called the Gudow Al-Azm on Friday, and with it the quantities of cumulus clouds and the areas affected by it increase to include all coasts overlooking the Sea of Oman, including the capital, Muscat, in addition to the interior parts of the Sultanate and the Hajar Mountains.
The attached map represents the accumulation of rain from Wednesday until Saturday, as it shows the concentration of heavy rain during the weekend on the coasts of the Sea of Oman and the Hajar Mountains.
Heavy thunderstorms will fall, which will cause a large flow of valleys and reefs and a rise in the water level in the streets. Therefore, Arab Weather recommends taking caution in such expected weather conditions.
The latest weather maps indicate that the Sultanate will remain under the influence of the groove of determination until the middle of next week at the very least.
