Arab Weather - The Public Authority for Civil Aviation in the Sultanate of Oman issued (Report No. 1) on the tropical situation in the Arabian Sea, which stated:

"The latest satellite images and analyses of the National Centre for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards indicate the possibility of a tropical depression forming southeast of the Arabian Sea, with the possibility of its development into a deep tropical depression during the next two days. Initial forecasts indicate that the tropical condition will move westward towards the coasts of Dhofar and the Gulf of Aden, with the possibility of Dhofar, Al Wusta and South Al Sharqiyah governorates being affected by an influx of clouds accompanied by rain of varying intensity starting from the night of Monday, October 14, 2024 AD."

The Civil Aviation Authority also called on the public to follow up on the bulletins and reports issued by it.
