High atmosphere.
Weather forecasters at the Arabia Weather Center said that it is expected that the extension of the depression into the Sultanate’s atmosphere will cause the continued flow of quantities of clouds at different altitudes to most parts of the Sultanate during the coming days. These clouds are interspersed with some cumulonimbus clouds that cause scattered rain in some areas, especially the Hajar Mountains and Neighboring areas and parts of North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.
It is expected, God willing, that the rain will be of varying intensity in some areas and accompanied by the occurrence of thunderstorms, which may lead to flowing through valleys and reefs. The winds may also become active locally during the passage of thunderclouds and lead to stirring up dust and dust.
