Khaled Al-Zaidani, confirmed that the company has carried out comprehensive maintenance of the electricity distribution networks in the governorate. In preparation <strong>for the winter season</strong> and upcoming weather conditions, in addition to a package of measures implemented by the company in the governorate throughout the year, at a cost of four million dinars.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">In a company statement, issued today, Monday, Al-Zaidani said that the company installed 19 remote-controlled pneumatic network cutters, which were placed</span> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">on articulated points in the electrical system to achieve the greatest possible ease of control, load distribution and alternative feeding, according to Petra.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">He pointed out the importance of these circuit breakers in isolating fault areas only without affecting other areas in the governorate, and they are centrally controlled from the monitoring and control center in the main offices in Amman.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">And the "Zaidanis" indicated that about 10 kilometers of exposed aerial networks were replaced with twisted aerial cables in various areas of Tafila, especially those most exposed to difficult weather conditions, such as the Qadisiyah region in the south of the governorate.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">The capacity of the stations has also been raised and new stations installed in the regions of Grendel, Al-Bayda, Busira, Aima, Al-Eis and Tafila, in addition to maintaining networks and replacing poles in various regions on an extensive basis in the Al-Hasa region.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">The company also added a transformer (10 MVA) to increase the total capacity of the main Tafila substation, in addition to adding a transformer (5 MVA) to increase the total capacity of the main substation of Al-Ais. In addition, 6 cells (33 kV) were added to the main Al-Ais substation to facilitate control and protection of the main lines, better distribute loads, and reduce the number of those affected by the outage.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">The Zaidanis explained that the value of the projects carried out by the company in the province is estimated to cost about 4 million dinars, and comes within the context of the company's prior plans, the latest of which was announced by the company's general manager, Eng.
