In detail, Egypt will be affected on Thursday by a low pressure system in the upper layers of the atmosphere, starting from the northwestern regions, where temperatures will drop and the weather will be cold in those regions with an increase in clouds at different altitudes. The opportunity for rain to fall on those regions, specifically the coasts of Matrouh Governorate, will be available, and the rain will be heavy at times, leading to water pools and a rise in the water level.

While temperatures will drop slightly in the rest of the regions and will be around their average for this time of year, the weather will be stable and pleasant, with maximum temperatures in Greater Cairo reaching around 21 degrees Celsius, and the winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate in speed, active in the west of the country and stirring up sand in desert and exposed areas.

Rainfall to expand during the evening and night hours of Thursday/Friday

During the hours of Thursday/Friday night, temperatures drop and the weather turns generally cold, and the scope of rainfall expands and extends to include several parts of the northern coasts, especially the northwestern ones, including Alexandria and the surrounding areas. On Friday, the low pressure system will move away from the Republic, while the influence of the cold and humid air mass will continue, as temperatures will drop to become lower than their average for this time of year.
