Arab Weather - The Jordanian Seismological Observatory, affiliated to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, recorded on Tuesday the explosion that occurred at the Beirut Port with seismic capacity equivalent to 4.5 on the Richter scale .

The head of the observatory, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qaryouti, said in a press statement that the Jordanian earthquake monitoring stations recorded the explosion at 06:08 minutes, and that the explosion is equivalent to an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale, describing the energy freed from the explosion by force

CNN reported that the Euro-Mediterranean Center for Seismology confirmed that the Beirut explosion was felt by Cyprus, which is located 240 km away.
