Weather of Arabia - A 17-year-old boy died on Monday, drowning in the waters of the King Abdullah Canal in the Manshiyya area of the Northern Jordan Valley.
The director of Moaz bin Jabal Hospital, Dr. Ihsan Matalqa, said, "The boy was rescued by civil defense cadres after he was pulled out of the canal's water to the emergency and emergency department, and the medical staff made every effort to try to revive him, but he died before arriving at the hospital." He added that the body was transferred to the Forensic Medical Center of the Northern Region to determine the cause of death.
Citizens who live near water sites, dams and the King Abdullah II Canal are warned not to approach or swim in these sites that are not designated for picnics or swimming, especially during times of extreme heat, as this poses a great danger to their lives.
