Weather of Arabia - An Egyptian plane witnessed a tragic accident a few days ago, as the co-pilot announced the death of the plane’s captain during the flight, which sparked panic among the passengers.
The co-pilot of the Egyptian plane belonging to a private company, which was heading from Cairo to the city of Taif in Saudi Arabia, announced on Wednesday the death of the flight commander, pilot Hassan Youssef Adass.
The pilot died after suffering a sudden illness while operating flight NE130. After his health condition suddenly deteriorated, the flight was diverted to Jeddah Airport, but the pilot breathed his last before arriving.

Dr. Jamal Shaaban, a professor of cardiology, revealed that the information indicates that the late pilot died as a result of a sudden heart attack while driving the plane. He explained that the pilot had a recent medical fitness certificate that he obtained three months before the accident. He added that the symptoms that the pilot felt, such as fatigue. Severe and sudden, consistent with the symptoms of a heart attack.
The Egyptian Pilots Association mourned the late pilot, noting that he suffered a sudden health crisis during a flight from Cairo Airport to Taif Airport, which required the second pilot to make an emergency landing at Jeddah Airport safely. Adas took his last breath while the plane stopped in Jeddah.
The co-pilot announced the death of the commander during the flight last Wednesday, which sparked panic among passengers. The passengers were informed in a sad tone that the pilot had died during the flight, which led to a state of terror among them, leaving some of them shocked, while others burst into tears.
