<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">ArabiaWeather.com- Sinan Khalaf – The Sudanese General Authority for Antiquities and Museums announced today the discovery of a group of tombs dating back to the first century BC.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The tombs that were discovered to the east of the city of Berber in the Nile River state contain a new and rare type of mastabas that were designed and built of green bricks. The tomb also included a group of antiquities, bronze metals and glass vessels.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The head of the antiquities mission confirmed that the tombs belonged to a higher aristocracy, that they were preserved in a good way, and that they were not greatly affected by the factors of time, calling on the authorities to take the necessary measures to protect these antiquities and to establish an archaeological museum to include these rare artifacts.</p>
