Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center are following up on the latest satellite images and computer modeling outputs, which show that the eastern Mediterranean basin is being affected by a rainy, cold, and stormy low-pressure system accompanied by a very cold air mass of polar origin.
God willing, the effects of the very cold air mass accompanying the low pressure system are expected to extend towards Egypt tonight and deepen on Thursday, where temperatures will gradually and noticeably drop to be lower than their averages for this time of year, especially on Thursday. During the day, cold weather will prevail in various northern regions, including the capital Cairo, while temperatures will be moderate in the southern regions.
With the appearance of clouds at different heights, there is a chance for scattered showers of rain to fall on some areas of the North Coast. During the night hours, the weather will be remarkably cold, and night temperatures will be colder than their usual rates for this time of year.
Northwesterly winds are expected to blow at an active speed in all northern regions, accompanied by strong gusts that will cause dust and sand waves, especially on desert and exposed roads. As for the sea, the winds will be strong and accompanied by strong gusts that will lead to severe disturbance in the sea waves, with the wave height exceeding 5 meters near the shore and in the depths.
And God knows best.
