Weather of Arabia - The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announced, in a video statement published today, Wednesday, that the UAE has exited the Corona crisis and the start of life returning to normal, pointing to the lessons and experiences that have been benefited from.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said: "We came out of the Corona crisis well, and we learned many lessons and experiences from it."

He added, "We thank God for the beginning of life's return to normal in the UAE."

Abolition of the mandatory wearing of the muzzle

Last month, the UAE allowed, for the first time since the start of the pandemic prevention measures, that it was not mandatory to wear the muzzle in some places, while adhering to the application of the principle of physical distancing of two meters.

The decision also allowed not to wear the muzzle when exercising in public places, private means of transportation for residents of the same house, beachgoers and open swimming pools, people who are alone in closed spaces, barber and beauty centers, salons, medical centers and clinics when diagnosis and treatment.

Significant decrease in the number of injuries

It is noteworthy that the United Arab Emirates is witnessing a decrease in the number of new infections with the Corona virus, as the UAE Ministry of Health recorded only 176 new cases yesterday. Thus, the total number of registered cases is 737,073.

And the UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that 82.31% of the total population of the Emirates received a first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 72.92% received two doses, until mid-August.

This does not mean the end of the epidemic in the world

The World Health Organization warned, today, Wednesday, that the world is “ not past the danger stage ” in tackling the Corona pandemic, although many believe that the matter is nearing its end.

Maria Van Kerkhove, the WHO's technical officer in charge of combating Covid-19, said that 3.1 million new confirmed infections were reported to the WHO last week and an additional 54,000 deaths, knowing that the numbers could be much higher.

"The situation is still very dynamic, because we are still not in control of the virus," Van Kerkhove added during a live conference via the WHO's channels on social media. Therefore, the situation still requires us to pay attention and take protection measures seriously.
