The number of specialized workers for sterilization reached (600) workers inside the Grand Mosque, and more than (500) modern automatic devices for sterilizing hands with a sensor feature were distributed, and (50) pumps for pest and insect control, (150) Caesar Mob devices, and (20) A Biocare device, (11) smart robots, and (550) hand pumps to sterilize the atmosphere and surfaces throughout the Grand Mosque, and (290) thousand masks have been distributed since raising the full capacity of the Grand Mosque, and these efforts were harnessed to keep the Grand Mosque, its squares and facilities A healthy environment and a clean place free of epidemics.

At the beginning of the Corona pandemic, the presidency inaugurated the “advanced self-sterilization gates” equipped with the latest technologies, which were developed by the presidency represented by the Agency for Technical and Service Affairs at the gates of the Grand Mosque, as part of the precautionary measures that have been activated since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19).

The presidency has also prepared, concurrently, thermal cameras and optical sorting processes, and support for sterilization work with (11) robots working with artificial intelligence, (20) Biocare sterilization devices using dry steam, (20) sterilization devices using the cold mist feature, and (500) pumps. Sterilization, in addition to (500) electronic soap boxes, and provision of (250) fans distributed in the courtyards of the Grand Mosque to soften the atmosphere.
