Arab Weather - According to the latest outputs of computer simulations, Arab Weather specialists said that the United States is on a date with the continuation of the same climate pattern and the rotational movement of the atmosphere represented by the concentration of the rush of polar air masses of very cold origin at different angles of descent, resulting in the formation of deep air depressions that bring heavy snow to many states, which necessitated declaring a state of emergency.
Experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center explained that weather systems in the northern hemisphere of the Earth caused an increase in the rush of very cold air from the North Pole towards northeastern America. As a result of the polar winds crossing the waters of the northeastern oceans and the interaction between the cold air and the warm and humid weather systems in the ocean, deep air depressions are formed, developing into strong storms with low air pressure values.
The storms, especially in the eastern United States, are accompanied by large cold air fronts that lead to strong winds and very high waves, with heavy rain and heavy snowfall in many areas, including northern California, Oregon and Washington. Temperatures are expected to drop below zero in several areas, where the weather is very cold.
The National Weather Service in the United States predicted on Sunday that the current winter storm in the country will lead to the largest snowfall in 10 years. Six US states declared a state of emergency in anticipation of severe weather conditions that will cause snow to accumulate on roads: Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Virginia and Kentucky.
This morning, Kansas and Missouri were hit by heavy snowfall, with authorities warning that driving on the roads at the moment is "highly dangerous and increases the possibility of stranding." About a dozen US states are affected by the powerful winter storm, reaching areas that have not seen a similar storm in recent years, leading to this January being the coldest since 2011.
At least 8 inches of snow is expected, especially north of Interstate 70, where the National Weather Service has issued winter storm warnings extending from Kansas and Missouri, and blizzard conditions have been reported as far as New Jersey, according to Shafaq News.
And God knows best.
