Weather of Arabia - The Jordanian Seismological Observatory indicated that a group of earthquakes occurred in Gaziantep, 590 km from Jordan, at dawn on the first day at 4:17 with a magnitude of 7.7 and the second at 4:28 with a magnitude of 6.2

In the details, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck on the Richter scale, 26 km northwest of the city of Gaziantep, in southern Turkey, on the border with Syria, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

Sources told Al-Arabiya news channel that the earthquake in Turkey was felt by residents of several countries, including Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Jordan

In turn, the American Seismological Center estimated the intensity of the Turkey earthquake at 7.9 degrees on the Richter scale, according to Al-Arabiya news channel.

For its part, a German center announced that the earthquake shook central Turkey, and occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers

A huge fire broke out in the Turkish region of Kahramanmaraş after the earthquake, and the media circulated videos and pictures of the collapse of buildings in Turkey and Syria as a result of this earthquake.
