The central conjunction, or the birth of the crescent, will occur on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 3:39 pm according to the time of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. At sunset, the crescent will be 4 hours and a minute old. The crescent will remain above the horizon after sunset for 19 minutes, and the crescent’s height will be at the moment of sunset. Approximately two and a half degrees, the angular distance between the Moon and the Sun is about 4 degrees and 19 minutes, the illumination percentage of the Moon is 0.1%, and the zenith angle is 300 degrees.
