Weather of Arabia - The Kuwaiti General Administration of Civil Aviation said today, Sunday, that air traffic at Kuwait International Airport is proceeding normally, with delays in some departing flights, despite the rainy situation that the country is currently witnessing.

 

The Deputy Director-General for Planning and Projects Affairs and the official spokesperson for the administration, Saad Al-Otaibi, stated that the movement of aircraft was not affected by the current weather, stressing that the emergency plan has been activated in all operational sectors in (Civil Aviation) to deal with the huge amounts of rain.

 

It is noteworthy that Kuwait is affected by scattered rain of medium intensity and sometimes thunderstorms in some areas, with an activity in wind speed that may reach more than 50 kilometers per hour with a decrease in horizontal visibility in some areas, and the height of sea waves reaches more than six feet.
