Arab Weather - The latest weather forecasts at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Siberian wave will deepen its impact on all regions of the Levant, including the Kingdom, as the very cold Siberian air mass is located over Syrian lands and is accompanied by snowfalls that may be heavy on the mountainous heights in Syria and Lebanon amid very cold weather.
In detail, the weather maps at the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate that the very cold Siberian air mass is moving from Turkish territory towards the south to be positioned over Syria, and the upper air depression is crossing where the weather is getting colder to become very cold in various regions of the Levant, especially over the high mountainous heights. Temperatures will range between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius and will drop to nearly zero degrees Celsius over the mountain tops and will be below zero over the towering peaks in Syria and Lebanon.
God willing, and due to the severe cooling of the Siberian air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere, it is expected that snow will fall intermittently on the highlands of Syria and Lebanon tonight and until Tuesday morning, amidst a very cold winter atmosphere. It is also not unlikely that some snow showers will fall at low altitudes above sea level in Syria and parts of Lebanon.
Rain is also expected to fall on the Syrian and Lebanese coasts, in addition to parts of Palestine and Jordan at intervals, with low clouds passing in contact with the ground surface, leading to the formation of dense fog at intervals, which may be in the form of frozen rain in the high mountain peaks of Jordan.
And God knows best.
