The Prime Ministry gives a Spanish company approval to establish a solar power plant

ArabiaWeather.com - In a session held yesterday, Wednesday , the Council of Ministers approved the implementation of a project to build a solar power plant to generate electricity in Azraq by a Spanish company.

The Council of Ministers stipulated, in the session chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Ensour, that the project be implemented in partnership or coalition with local contractors rated at a rate of not less than 20% of the value of the project’s work, and that the Spanish company be licensed with the Government Tenders Department and registered with the Jordanian Engineers Association and affiliated with the Contractors Association. Jordanian constructions, since the project is of a specialized nature.
