Weather of Arabia - Turkish Romesa Gilji, the tallest living woman according to the "Guinness Book of Records", was able to travel by air for the first time in her life.

Turkish Airlines has modified one of its planes, to enable the tallest woman in the world to travel to San Francisco, in the United States.

Gilji, 25, suffers from Weaver's syndrome, a rare genetic condition that causes overgrowth of bones and leads to excessively high stature.

Gilji has not flown before because her height does not allow it even at a young age, according to the British newspaper, "Daily Star".

In a post on her Instagram account, Gilji said: "Flawless flight from start to finish. This was my first flight by plane, but it certainly won't be the last."

To enable her to travel, Turkish Airlines removed 6 seats from the plane, and replaced them with a bed for Gilgi.

Gilji has set several Guinness World Records, and in 2014, she was considered the tallest living teenage girl.

Earlier this year, Gilgi broke records for the longest finger and hand and the largest hand of a woman alive.

It is worth noting that Gilji is the first person to be diagnosed with Weaver syndrome in Turkey, the 27th confirmed case in history.
