On the other hand, Typhoon Yagi hit the Asian coasts with all its force, causing widespread destruction in Vietnam and China. Autumn has begun in meteorology.
Meteorology is based on dividing the year into four seasons, each of which lasts for three months. This division facilitates the process of weather monitoring and forecasting, in addition to determining seasonal statistics.
According to the meteorological calendar, autumn began on September 1 and will end on November 30, which means that this season covers the months of September, October and November.
Typhoon Yagi hits Vietnam and China

Starliner spacecraft returns to Earth
Boeing's Starliner spacecraft left the International Space Station on Friday, heading back to Earth without a crew, after a series of technical problems. The German news agency DPA reported, citing NASA, that Starliner lifted off from the International Space Station on Friday at 6:04 p.m. local time (2204 GMT), after spending three months in space. The spacecraft landed at White Sands Spaceport in New Mexico after a six-hour flight.
