ArabiaWeather - A thunderstorm hit western Indonesia, damaging more than 34 homes, as it was accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain that caused torrential formation in Aceh.
There were no reports of deaths or injuries among citizens in the region, according to the Indonesian National Agency for Disaster Mitigation.
The statement said that strong winds uprooted trees in four cities in the southeast of the region.
In turn, the local authorities warned the citizens of unusual weather conditions expected in some areas of the far west of Indonesia.
A spokesman for the Indonesian National Agency said on Friday that the thunderstorms damaged more than 200 homes in the northern Sumatra region of the country on Thursday.
